Welcome to the beginning of a great growth opportunity. The Bible can be a very challenging book to read, but it’s so important because it can help you know God and His ways. That’s why we’re inviting you to start small and let your understanding of the book grow.
For the next three months, we are encouraging you to “Dive-in” to John with us. We have three goals:
*Help people get in the habit of reading the Bible
*Help people learn how to study the bible
*Help people learn how to get answers from the Bible
You will need a Bible, notebook, pen and your commentary each day. Then, as you read, if something strikes you as strange, unusual, weird, cool, interesting or unexpected, stop and write about it in your notebook. Each day I will be giving you a sample of how to listen and study based on the things I’ve learned from memorizing the book of John. By the way, don’t worry if you don’t get surprised by something everyday. It doesn't happen to me every day. Also, the things that strike me may not strike you. That's just the way God works. Try it and see for yourself!
